Annual Events
Pile of Craft is a juried indie/alternative craft fair in the Spring/Summer of each year. The whole homemade renaissance has resuscitated the image of crafting -- gone is the cliché of your kooky aunt slaving away at a kiln behind the garage. Sure, it's still kooky, in that delightful screw-manufactured-taste kinda way where colors and patterns don't need to match so much and connections between forms are invented on the fly. So, get your craft on, hon!
Holiday Heap is a juried indie craft fair featuring over 40 renegade crafters from the area and beyond. A free event, open to everyone, and perfect for purchasing out-of-the-ordinary gifts for the holiday season. Snacks available from Red Emma’s Bookstore and Curbside Cafe, AND there is always a chance to win the mother of all raffle baskets, with ticket purchase going to support Heart's Place.
