Holiday Heap

Holiday Heap is a juried indie craft fair featuring over 50 renegade crafters from the area and beyond. A free event, open to everyone, and perfect for purchasing out-of-the-ordinary gifts for the holiday season. Music is provided by Sleepy Records; snacks provided by Red Emma’s Bookstore. Holiday Heap 2008 also incuded super fun post-shopping interviews with new local craft group HELLO CRAFT. And there is always a chance to win the mother of all raffle baskets.

Pile of Craft is a juried indie/alternative craft fair in the Spring/Summer of each year. The whole homemade renaissance has resuscitated the image of crafting -- gone is the cliché of your kooky aunt slaving away at a kiln behind the garage. Sure, it's still kooky, in that delightful screw-manufactured-taste kinda way where colors and patterns don't need to match so much and connections between forms are invented on the fly. So, get your craft on, hon!
